kt.academy
A rebranding project and new visual layer for an educational brand in the Kotlin space, covering a refresh of the logo, identity and communication plus the design of a new site and its key sales views. The goal was to organise the course and workshop offer better, make stronger use of the founder's personal brand and prepare the brand for more effective monetisation and further international growth.
About the brand
kt.academy is an educational brand focused on learning Kotlin and its surrounding ecosystem, built around expert knowledge, courses, workshops and content for developers. In this project it was important not only to refresh the image but to organise the whole perception of the brand so that it better combines expertise, selling the educational offer and an international tone of communication. Publicly you can clearly see courses, workshops, certification, books and the community all connected around the brand.
What we do
As part of the project we handled the brand's full rebranding, covering a refresh of the logo, visual identity, colour palette and communication, plus preparing the new structure and design of the site. We put a lot of emphasis on giving the brand a more mature, expert and international character while making it sell courses and workshops better right from the homepage and the key offer views.
An important element of the project was organising the offer architecture and designing page logic that leads users through the most important information before buying a course. The point was to show dates, training formats, certification, participant feedback and the role of a founder-led brand in the whole experience more effectively. The result was a design that combines a strong personal brand with more organised, sales-oriented and scalable communication of an educational product. On the current site that logic shows clearly through the exposure of workshop dates, prices, the certificate, feedback and the "Trusted by global partners" section.

Mobile isn't a trend, it's where sales happen

A condensed offer without losing substance
With educational products, users want to understand quickly – before buying – what the course covers, what format it takes, when it starts and whether it is for them. The mobile views were designed so this information is organised and easy to absorb even on a small screen.
A purchase preceded by specifics, not chaos
In this project it was important to lay out mobile so users do not get lost between courses, workshops, certification, reviews and extra materials. The structure was planned to lead them through the key purchase arguments in a logical order.
Mobile that supports monetising a personal brand
The brand's expert character and the trust built around a founder-led brand play a big role here. So on a phone it was important not only to show the offer itself but to properly highlight the elements that strengthen the purchase decision, such as feedback, the creator's authority and the quality of the programme.
Dedicated solution
What mattered most in this project was designing a new sales architecture for the brand that organises several parallel areas of the offer and arranges them into one coherent communication funnel. Courses, workshops, certification, books, feedback and the expert authority of a founder-led brand were brought together into a single visual and communication system that guides users better from first contact with the brand to a purchase decision. On the current site these elements now sit side by side as a coherent model for presenting an educational offer.
